Carol Abrahamson‚ Chief Operating Officer

Carol Abrahamson graduated from nursing school in 1975 from USC. Carol chose the path of surgical nursing and practiced in a number of prestigious medical facilities which included Ochsner Medical and Research Center. Ochsner may best be known for Alton Ochsner’s pioneering research into the relationship between cigarette smoking and lung cancer.

Nursing taught Carol discipline‚ organization‚ and efficient time-management skills. While performing her duties as a surgical nurse‚ she learned the value of working under pressure. In 1987 Carol joined her husband‚ Darwin Abrahamson‚ as his assistant in his retirement planning practice. The opportunity allowed her to apply her nursing skills to the retirement market.

Carol oversees the operations of the company‚ lending support to all of the members of the team. With an acute interest in writing and research‚ Carol is also responsible for all of the content on the WEB sites and marketing materials.

Carol earned an A.D. in Nursing‚ University of South Carolina‚ with a 3.9 GPA. Sitting for her Board Exams‚ she passed each specialty by scoring over 500 points in each category and received the designation of R.N. in 1975. Email Carol at carol@investnretire.com or phone 503–419–2894 ext. 101.
